San Diego Farmers Markets Guide

San Diego Farmers Market Guide...The Wanderer Guides

San Diego is the best place for Farmers Markets: we have great weather all year round (for growing and for holding the markets), we have great local companies eager to share their products, and we have plenty of people interested in buying local and living well.  Because of these wonderful attributes, we have a ton of Farmers Markets happening every week.  Here is your guide to San Diego Farmers Markets.

What to Bring
Reusable Bags
A Friendly Attitude (people like me who need to mentally prepare ought to start early!)
Cash (Many vendors do take cards but why risk it? I forgot cash last week and couldn’t get the green juice I was craving.)
A Shopping List (Know what you need to get so you can utilize fruits, veggies and condiments.)

Who to Bring
Your Spouse
Your Significant Other
Your Parents
Your Sister
Your Best Friend
Your Puppy
Your Self
Basically anyone who enjoys getting some fresh air and walking around!

What to Wear
Prepare for the time of year and the weather for the day.  If you go early morning on a cool day, you probably need a warm jacket.  If you go midday on a hot day, wear clothes that keep you cool.  Make sure to wear walking shoes and plenty of sunscreen…even if it’s winter and cloudy, you still need the sunscreen!
